Accountant – Finance Team (Onsite, Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Abu Dhabi. The role is onsite and focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting core accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and daily accounting entries.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist in VAT return preparation and corporate tax returns.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments for accurate financial reporting.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• B.Com degree with CA Finalist or ACCA accreditation.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Previous UAE work experience in a similar role.
• Valid driving license (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
