Accountant

About the role

Delta International is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This junior‑level position offers a great opportunity for a motivated professional with basic accounting knowledge to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and various accounts regularly.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
• Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month‑end closing.
• Manage petty cash and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams for expense tracking and reporting.
• Support senior accountants during audits and compliance tasks.
• Organise and file financial documents efficiently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Spouse visa holders preferred and must be legally authorized to work in the UAE.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic reporting).
• Hands‑on experience with Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
