Accountant – UAE VAT & Corporate Tax Specialist

About the role

FINROOT is looking for an experienced Accountant to join its Dubai team. The role focuses on UAE accounting practices, VAT and corporate tax compliance, and delivering accurate financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and month‑end/year‑end closings.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
• Support audits and management reporting.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
