About the role
We are looking for an Administrative Officer to join Jumeirah International Nurseries. The role serves as the first point of contact for parents, guests and vendors, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations of the nursery and supporting the Nursery Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and direct parents, guests and vendors, providing a welcoming first impression.
- Answer telephone calls professionally, troubleshoot issues and filter inquiries.
- Provide secretarial, clerical and general administrative support to the Nursery team.
- Assist in planning, preparing and executing nursery events.
- Manage reception duties, including visitor logbook, badge issuance and security procedures.
- Process admissions, record pupil data and handle correspondence.
- Maintain social media accounts linked to the nursery.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders and verify receipt of supplies.
- Support compliance with nursery policies and procedures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in an educational or childcare setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
