Advanced NDT PAUT Technician (PCN Certified)

About the role

Sigma Specialized Inspection (SSI) is seeking an experienced Advanced NDT Technician to perform high‑level ultrasonic and other non‑destructive testing on offshore and onshore oilfield assets in Abu Dhabi. The role involves interpreting a range of inspection methods and ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tube and tank inspections and interpret IRIS, RFT, ECT, MFL and SECT results.
• Conduct and interpret PAUT (Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing) and TOFD (Time of Flight Diffraction) examinations.
• Carry out Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI) when qualified.
• Execute Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and visual inspections as required.
• Review inspection results against applicable codes, standards and specifications.
• Document findings, prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain good housekeeping.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑5 years of experience as a PCN‑certified PAUT/TOFD technician.
• Proficient with NDT equipment and familiar with both manual and computerized reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
