AI Product Owner – Insurance

About the role

The AI Product Owner will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of artificial intelligence initiatives within the Property & Casualty insurance domain. Reporting to business sponsors, the role coordinates data and AI engineering, infrastructure, risk, compliance and external vendors to turn AI strategy into trusted, production‑ready capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the target enterprise architecture for P&C insurance covering underwriting, policy administration, claims, billing, reinsurance and distribution.
• Develop domain‑level reference architectures aligned to business capabilities and operating models.
• Design the enterprise architecture for Agentic AI, including autonomous agents, orchestration layers, decision engines and human‑in‑the‑loop models.
• Embed AI agents into core insurance processes such as FNOL, claims handling, underwriting triage, fraud detection and agent assistance.
• Establish guardrails for AI governance, ethics, security, explainability and regulatory compliance.
• Drive reuse of AI capabilities through platforms, services and APIs rather than point solutions.
• Architect digital platforms for omnichannel experiences and ensure they are scalable, API‑driven and event‑enabled.
• Own the API‑first and event‑driven integration strategy, defining standards for REST, event streaming and asynchronous patterns.
