Airfield and Civils Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Airfield and Civils Maintenance Engineer to oversee civil infrastructure assets across multiple sites in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures high availability of assets, coordinates service providers, and guarantees compliance with safety and regulatory standards in a 24/7 operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor contractors to deliver services safely, efficiently, and to agreed standards.
• Conduct inspections of pavements, roads, and structures, maintaining accurate records.
• Support planning and execution of maintenance activities to minimise operational disruption.
• Review technical documents, specifications, and maintenance plans.
• Monitor asset performance and report on technical and safety compliance.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation of scope changes.
• Assist with asset lifecycle activities from mobilisation to de‑commissioning.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and escalate issues or risks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, infrastructure, or aviation environments.
• Proven experience managing contractors and service delivery in complex settings.
• UAE driving licence.
