Analyst – WBG & Treasury Business Finance

About the role

The Analyst will support the Line Manager in delivering financial analytics, performance management and planning for ADIB’s Wholesale Banking Group (WBG) and Treasury business. The role provides timely business insights to senior management, monitors key profitability metrics and assists in the annual corporate planning process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly business analysis, budget variance analysis and weekly forecasts, sharing insights with stakeholders.
• Monitor balance‑sheet movements, financing and deposit activities on a daily basis and identify significant client changes.
• Support cost‑intelligence initiatives, track RWA, RoRWA, RoRAC and other profitability metrics at business and client levels.
• Collaborate with the Performance Management Team to produce budgets, explain variances and develop cost allocation rules.
• Produce analytical reports and dashboards for senior management and assist in reviewing credit exposures and KPI scorecards.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in business or finance analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong analytical and financial skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and solid work ethics.
• Finance qualifications such as CMA or ACCA are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in all MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Research skills for data gathering and analysis.
