Assistant Associate Professor of Marketing

About the role

Ajman University is seeking an Assistant Associate Professor of Marketing to join its Faculty of Business. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing and Hospitality Management, conduct high‑quality research, and contribute to the university’s academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess undergraduate and graduate Marketing and Hospitality Management courses.
• Employ innovative, technology‑enabled teaching methods.
• Provide academic advising and supervise student research projects, theses, and internships.
• Conduct research, publish in top‑tier journals, and seek external research funding.
• Participate in curriculum design, program development, accreditation, and quality‑assurance processes.
• Serve on departmental, college, and university committees and engage in professional service.
• Build partnerships with industry, government, and community stakeholders.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related field from a reputable, preferably AACSB‑accredited university (or equivalent senior industry experience for a Professor of Practice).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate levels in an internationally reputable university.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, curriculum development, and student supervision.
• Strong record of peer‑reviewed research publications in top‑tier business/management journals.
• Evidence of collaborative, interdisciplinary research and professional service.
• Knowledge and teaching experience in Hospitality Management is highly desirable.
