Assistant Director of Engineering

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira in Dubai is seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering to support the hotel’s engineering operations. The role combines leadership, policy implementation and compliance within a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and enforce corporate and hotel policies, SOPs and the MOHG Code of Conduct across the engineering team.
• Support the Engineering Department Strategic Policy and all learning and development initiatives.
• Safeguard guest, customer and colleague data and ensure confidentiality in line with legal and hotel requirements.
• Monitor appropriate use of hotel IT resources and enforce acceptable use policies.
• Ensure compliance with Safe, Sound and Sustainable standards and the MODUB Social Media Policy.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, sustainable and high‑quality engineering environment throughout the property.
