About the role

Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi is seeking a motivated and forward‑thinking Assistant Head of Secondary to join its senior leadership team. Reporting to the Headteacher, you will help shape the strategic direction and day‑to‑day operations of the secondary department.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Headteacher in delivering the school’s vision and strategic objectives for secondary education.
• Oversee teaching and learning standards, ensuring high‑quality instruction and assessment.
• Lead initiatives that promote student wellbeing, safeguarding, and inclusive practice.
• Manage compliance with ADEK regulations and international accreditation requirements.
• Contribute to school improvement planning and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience in secondary education leadership.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development and pedagogical best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to drive school improvement and manage change.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
