Assistant HR Manager – Talent Acquisition & HR Operations (FMCG)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant HR Manager to lead talent acquisition and HR operations for a fast‑moving FMCG manufacturing organisation in Dubai. The role combines hands‑on recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, and day‑to‑day HR administration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment: receive manpower requests, source candidates, conduct interviews, coordinate offers and ensure smooth onboarding.
• Oversee pre‑employment documentation, employee induction, probation tracking and HR policy guidance.
• Coordinate annual Training Needs Analysis, maintain the training calendar, budget and records.
• Support succession planning, employee development plans and readiness assessments for critical roles.
• Drive the performance appraisal cycle, including goal setting, KPI monitoring and reporting.
• Administer employee medical insurance, handling additions, deletions, renewals and enquiries.
• Arrange business travel in line with company policy and budget.
• Prepare HR letters, maintain employee records, HR trackers, dashboards and update SAP HCM/HRIS data.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual HR reports and assist with HR projects, policy reviews and audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 6–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in UAE or GCC.
• Proven experience in talent acquisition, HR operations, learning & development and performance management.
• Previous senior HR roles such as Senior HR Officer, HR Supervisor or Assistant HR Manager.
• Strong knowledge of UAE employment legislation; experience in manufacturing or FMCG is an advantage.
