Assistant Manager – Human Resources (Healthcare)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist/Assistant Manager to join a brand‑new multi‑specialty hospital in Dubai Healthcare City Phase 2. The role will support the development and execution of HR strategies as the hospital moves from setup to full operation, ensuring recruitment, onboarding, payroll and performance processes run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for clinical and non‑clinical positions, sourcing candidates, screening, coordinating interviews and closing vacancies within defined timelines.
• Collaborate with department heads to define manpower needs, maintain talent pipelines and communicate recruitment status.
• Oversee pre‑joining and onboarding activities, including offer letters, contracts, induction and coordination with IT, finance and administration.
• Support payroll processing by validating employee data, attendance and leave records.
• Administer employee lifecycle events such as confirmations, transfers and separations while ensuring compliance with HR policies and healthcare regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or Assistant Manager, preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, recruitment best practices and relevant healthcare regulations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to work closely with department heads, employees and external agencies.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously.
