Assistant Manager / Manager – Sales (Duct Heaters & VAV Systems)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to lead and grow our Duct Heaters and VAV Systems business across the UAE. The role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to secure project specifications and drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sales growth for Duct Heaters and VAV product lines in assigned territories.
• Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company targets.
• Identify, track, and influence HVAC projects, tenders, and specification pipelines.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants, developers, and MEP contractors to obtain product approvals.
• Review and approve technical submittals, BOQs, pricing strategies, and commercial proposals.
• Deliver high‑level technical presentations, client meetings, and negotiations.
• Mentor junior sales engineers and ensure team performance.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and supply‑chain teams for smooth project execution.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contract finalisation, and order closures.
• Monitor sales performance, forecasts, KPIs and report to senior management.
• Gather market intelligence, competitor analysis and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6–10 years of HVAC sales experience, preferably with manufacturers or system suppliers.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the UAE market.
• Established network with consultants, contractors, and MEP firms.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Expertise in Duct Heaters and their HVAC applications.
• In‑depth knowledge of VAV systems, terminals, controllers and dampers.
• Ability to interpret HVAC drawings and perform basic load assessments.
• Understanding of airflow distribution concepts.
• Familiarity with UAE/GCC HVAC standards, codes and consultant requirements.
