Assistant Marina Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Assistant Marina Manager supports the daily on‑water operations of the marina at a luxury resort, ensuring a safe and high‑quality experience for guests and vessel owners. This role combines operational oversight with guest service and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage berthing, berth bookings, and allocation of vessels.
• Coordinate vessel movements and monitor marina safety, health, and fire‑prevention procedures.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Handle telephone enquiries with professional etiquette.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure accurate use of computer and POS systems.
• Support supervisory duties such as training, evaluating, and coaching staff.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
• At least 1 year supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer and POS systems.
