About the role

Anantara Hotels & Resorts is a global luxury hotel and resort brand rooted in Thai culture, inspired by the Sanskrit word meaning ‘without end’, embodying freedom, movement and harmony. Based at Anantara Downtown Dubai, the Assistant People & Culture Manager supports the Director of People & Culture in preparing budgets, forecasts and annual action plans while ensuring HR policies and processes are consistently applied.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director of People & Culture in the preparation of the P&C budget, forecast and annual action plans, providing analytical support and strategic input.
• Ensure that Anantara P&C operational policies and processes are adhered to, continuously improving them to meet business needs.
• Support sourcing and recruitment activities, performance management, staff discipline and overall P&C administration to maintain a high‑performing workforce.
• Manage P&C operations in line with UAE labour law, including coordination of work permits, visas and compliance documentation.
• Maintain complete and confidential employment records for all team members, both digitally and in physical files.
• Implement corporate compensation policies and develop local salary, benefits, incentive and bonus schemes.
• Assist in communicating key messages to all team members, promoting feedback channels and maintaining positive relations with employee representatives.
• Coordinate accommodation, facilities and transportation matters for team members, ensuring their wellbeing and logistical needs are met.
