Assistant Professor – College of Education

About the role

The University of the United Arab Emirates is seeking an Assistant Professor to lead accreditation and academic program review activities within the College of Education. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty, administrators, and external agencies to ensure compliance with national and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the accreditation and academic program review process for the College of Education.
• Develop and maintain formats and files required for accreditation.
• Serve as the college liaison to accrediting and state agencies.
• Help develop, review, and write policies and procedures to ensure program compliance.
• Stay current with CAEP and related agency accreditation policies.
• Coordinate travel, accommodation, and program visitation procedures with the Finance Officer.
• Work with department chairs to develop and maintain databases needed for accreditation.
• Contribute to faculty training and professional development related to accreditation and assessment.
• Prepare institutional and accreditation reports.
• Develop and analyze survey instruments addressing accreditation and program review standards.
• Collaborate with schools and districts to collect and maintain data related to accreditation and program review.

Required profile

• Earned doctorate in education, psychology, or a related discipline.
• Ability to teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses.
• Prior experience in accreditation or academic program review is preferred.
