About the role
Abu Dhabi University’s College of Law is looking for an Assistant Professor in Private Law (or Public/Private Law) to join its faculty. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in English (Arabic optional), develop curriculum, and lead research projects that enhance the College’s regional and international reputation.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality lectures, seminars and tutorials for Bachelor and Master programmes.
- Design and update course materials in line with accreditation standards.
- Supervise student theses, dissertations and research projects.
- Conduct independent research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals and present at conferences.
- Participate in departmental committees, accreditation activities and community outreach.
Required profile
- Doctoral degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum three years of full‑time teaching and research experience with a record of scholarly publications.
- Demonstrated ability to teach in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Strong engagement with students inside and outside the classroom.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
