AV & IT Support Specialist – University Auditorium

About the role

The AV & IT Support Specialist ensures seamless operation of audio‑visual and IT services for the university auditorium and campus. You will support events such as conferences, ceremonies, lectures and hybrid sessions, while also handling daily IT help‑desk requests.

Key responsibilities

• Review event requirements, conduct technical checks and rehearsals, and operate AV equipment during live events.
• Provide immediate troubleshooting and solutions for technical issues that arise during events.
• Perform routine system inspections, preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis and coordinate with vendors for repairs and upgrades.
• Manage IT help‑desk tickets, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and support Microsoft 365 and other approved applications.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in audio‑visual systems and solid IT support capabilities.
• Excellent customer‑service skills and ability to work effectively under pressure during high‑profile events.
