AVP & Audit Manager, Branch Operations

About the role

The AVP & Audit Manager, Branch Operations will lead and participate in audits of Branch Operations across the FAB Group. The role provides assurance to senior management by identifying weaknesses, reporting findings, and agreeing on action plans, while acting as the day‑to‑day contact for Branch Operations departments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct audits of Branch Operations functions in the UAE and international subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with the Annual Audit Plan.
• Report significant audit findings promptly, escalate issues, and collaborate with senior audit leadership on action plans.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance to Branch Operations management, influencing change through advice and recommendations.
• Assist in special investigations, reviews, and ad‑hoc tasks as directed by senior audit executives.
• Guide and train junior audit colleagues, promoting knowledge sharing and adherence to audit methodology.
• Monitor financial performance of audited areas against budgets and report variances.
• Execute GIA policies, maintain the Audit Universe, and prepare risk assessments for each process stream.
• Promote periodic self‑assessment of risks and controls within business units.

Required profile

• Thorough understanding of Branch Operations control dynamics, risk management processes, and regulatory environment in the UAE and other jurisdictions where FAB operates.
• Proven experience in auditing branch‑level operations and delivering actionable insights to senior management.
• Ability to train and mentor junior audit staff and work collaboratively across functions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to influence change and report findings effectively.
