About the role
The Assistant Vice President (AVP) & Lead for Credit Management in the TMT segment will oversee credit assessments and approvals for commercial banking customers. This role ensures high‑quality assets are booked while supporting the broader Credit Team.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, process and analyse credit facility applications and one‑off transaction requests, providing recommendations for approval or rejection.
- Manage a portfolio of credit accounts, conducting regular follow‑ups with business units to ensure compliance with credit terms.
- Monitor early‑warning cases, gather updates from business units, and safeguard the bank’s interests.
- Lead additional projects that support Credit Team activities, including system checks and MIS reporting as directed by the Credit Head.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, commerce, economics or finance (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 5‑8 years of banking experience, with at least 5 years in credit management.
