B2 Aircraft Engineer – A350 & A380

About the role

We are seeking a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to support the maintenance and certification of Airbus A350 and A380 aircraft at Etihad Engineering in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you will ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and certify maintenance tasks on A350 and A380 aircraft, ensuring compliance with approved data and authorisation scope.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Prepare materials, parts, tools, equipment and documentation at the start of each shift.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of Aircraft Engineers and Technicians, providing guidance and ensuring safe practices.
• Maintain aircraft effectivity, verify latest revisions of maintenance data, and ensure aircraft are ready for arrival and departure.
• Conduct inspections of ground support equipment and company vehicles, completing the relevant checklists.
• Uphold health, safety and quality standards, keeping work areas free of foreign object debris (FOD) and ensuring cleanliness of facilities.
• Participate in safety programs and promote a positive reporting culture.

Required profile

• Licensed Aircraft Engineer with experience on Airbus A350 and A380 platforms.
• Ability to certify own work and that of others within authorised scope.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow company procedures and safety manuals.
• Willingness to work shifts and coordinate maintenance activities on assigned aircraft.
