Backup and Restore Consultant

About the role

The company is seeking a Backup and Restore Consultant to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will manage and support enterprise storage, backup and cloud platforms, ensuring data protection and disaster recovery across multiple environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Rubrik CDM, RSC and RSC‑P solutions, guaranteeing reliable backup, recovery, retention and compliance.
• Design, implement and support Azure and OCI backup, archival, replication and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Perform storage provisioning, capacity planning, upgrades, performance tuning and SAN fabric administration using Brocade switches.
• Monitor system health, storage utilisation, backup success rates and replication activities, proactively resolving issues.
• Provide L2/L3 operational support for storage, backup and cloud infrastructure, handling incidents, problems, changes and DR activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in backup, storage or cloud environments.
• Eligible to work in the UAE without visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to obtain or already hold Rubrik, Microsoft Azure or OCI certifications.
