Baggage Team Leader

About the role

The Baggage Team Leader provides front‑line leadership and operational supervision within airport baggage handling. You will ensure safe, efficient and timely movement of passenger baggage while delivering a superior guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, update and supervise baggage handling activities to meet SLAs and quality standards.
• Drive employee engagement and a high‑performance culture through empowerment, communication and goal attainment.
• Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, safety and security procedures for yourself and the team.
• Maintain clear communication at all levels, conduct team briefings and complete required reports.
• Accurately complete all documentation related to baggage handling tasks.
• Proactively work towards the seamless connection of passengers and their bags.
• Report safety, security, service occurrences, errors, hazards and near‑misses using established procedures.

Required profile

• Secondary / High school level education.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in airport ground handling industry.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
