Business Analyst (IT & Business Solutions)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to bridge the gap between IT and executive teams in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on enhancing IT product quality, analysing data for business decisions, and delivering technology solutions that meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, specify and validate stakeholder business needs.
• Identify project stakeholders, define customer classes and characteristics.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, surveys and site visits to gather requirements.
• Define project scope, impact, outcome criteria and metrics.
• Prioritise requirements with stakeholders and project teams.
• Research products to meet requirements and support purchasing.
• Verify requirements for completeness, consistency and feasibility.
• Write clear requirement specifications using standard templates.
• Translate conceptual requirements into functional specifications for developers.
• Create process models, diagrams and charts to guide development.
• Lead peer reviews of business requirements.
• Manage and track requirement status throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate changes, enhancements and modifications to business requirements.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and support strategic business planning.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience in business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling and verification.
• Strong interpersonal skills to act as a communication link between IT and executive branches.
