About the role

Progesys Inc is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive growth across the Middle East and Africa. You will be responsible for expanding the company’s footprint in industrial sectors, building relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve regional business objectives.
• Prospect new clients, conduct cold calls, and deliver sales presentations.
• Research, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in mining, petrochemicals, oil & gas, and related industries.
• Organise external meetings, seminars, and trade‑show participation.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry associations.
• Communicate Progesys capabilities, ROI, and service benefits to prospects.
• Provide regular progress updates to management and maintain accurate CRM data.
• Support marketing campaigns and represent the company at industry events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 7‑10 years of business development or professional services sales experience in the industrial sector.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
• Proven ability to engage senior decision‑makers and build credible relationships.
• Strong work ethic, results‑oriented mindset, and high motivation.
• Good knowledge of local markets and existing contacts in the region.
