Business Development Manager – New Sales (Dubai)

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead the sales of the MEA Construction Projects Database to the construction industry in the Middle East and Africa. You will be responsible for expanding market presence, achieving sales quotas, and driving revenue growth for the subscription‑based platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow market share.
• Develop and implement targeted sales strategies and outreach plans.
• Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and growth areas.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to support sales initiatives.
• Track, analyse, and report on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and client needs in construction.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software and related business tools.
• Familiarity with project management and industry‑specific software is advantageous.
