Business Teacher (British Curriculum) – Immediate Start

About the role

GEMS FirstPoint School in Dubai is looking for an outstanding Business Teacher to join its team as soon as possible. The role involves delivering the British curriculum to students from Year 9 to Year 13 and may lead to middle‑leadership responsibilities such as Curriculum Leader or Head of Year.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Business lessons for GCSE, A Level and BTEC programmes.
• Develop engaging, inclusive learning experiences that cater for a wide range of abilities.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities, pastoral care and departmental meetings.
• Collaborate with senior staff on curriculum development and professional learning initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business or a related discipline.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching Business within the British curriculum, including GCSE.
• Strong commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing.

Required skills

• Excellent subject knowledge of Business studies.
• Effective classroom management and instructional techniques.
