Buyer Mechanical Electrical And Industrial Parts

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Buyer to join our Supply Chain & Procurement team in Abu Dhabi. The role manages end‑to‑end purchasing of mechanical, electrical and fabricated parts for engineering and manufacturing projects, collaborating with internal teams and global suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and manage purchase orders for mechanical, electrical and fabricated components, monitor confirmations and update ERP data.
• Coordinate with suppliers to clarify specifications, expedite critical deliveries and resolve invoice or shipping discrepancies.
• Align procurement timelines with project milestones, participate in BOM reviews and support sourcing of non‑standard components.
• Collaborate with production planners, engineers, quality assurance and receiving teams to address non‑conformances and ensure accurate delivery.

Required profile

• Previous purchasing or procurement experience in heavy machinery, manufacturing, industrial equipment or oil & gas services.
• Ability to read and interpret Bills of Materials, engineering drawings and technical part specifications.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
