Cashier – Front of House

About the role

The Cashier is a key member of the front‑of‑house team, responsible for processing guest payments accurately and delivering a welcoming experience. This full‑time position ensures smooth financial operations while upholding the brand’s service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash, card and digital payments using the POS system and issue receipts.
• Balance cash drawers at the start and end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
• Welcome guests, answer payment‑related queries and resolve basic concerns.
• Coordinate with service and management teams to ensure accurate billing for dine‑in, takeaway and delivery orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized cashier station and adhere to hygiene, safety and company policies.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of cashier experience in a restaurant, café or similar hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to handle cash transactions and operate POS systems.
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and a positive, honest attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced setting and collaborate with a team.
