Charge Nurse – Sakina

About the role

The Charge Nurse at SEHA’s Sheikh Khalifa Medical City leads the nursing team on each shift, ensuring safe, age‑appropriate patient care in line with the Abu Dhabi Nursing Scope of Practice. The role combines direct clinical responsibilities with leadership, quality monitoring and health education delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide age‑appropriate nursing care according to the regulatory scope of practice.
• Supervise and coordinate the patient‑care team throughout the shift.
• Maintain clinical standards and ensure high‑quality patient outcomes.
• Promote and adhere to the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi.
• Deliver health education and promote wellness initiatives within the unit.

Required profile

• Commitment to the mission, vision and values of SEHA.
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary nursing team effectively.
• Understanding of Abu Dhabi health regulations and nursing standards.
