About the role

GEMS Founders School in Dubai is seeking a Chemistry Teacher to join the faculty for the academic year beginning August 2026. The school is British Schools Overseas accredited and offers a supportive environment for both new and experienced educators.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Chemistry curriculum to secondary‑level students in line with British standards.
• Plan, prepare and evaluate engaging lessons that foster inquiry and critical thinking.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
• Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to the school’s CPD programmes.

Required profile

• BE or Bachelor’s degree majoring in Chemistry, or a PGCE with QTS in Chemistry.
• Demonstrated exemplary teaching practice and a track record of outstanding learning outcomes.
• Creative and enthusiastic approach to classroom and extracurricular activities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, parents and staff.
• Strong desire to grow within a world‑class, internationally‑focused school.
