Chief Accountant – Finance & Accounting

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and detail‑oriented Chief Accountant to lead the finance and accounting function of Radisson Beach Resort Palm Jumeirah. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with UAE statutory and hotel policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities, maintain the chart of accounts and ensure proper classification of all transactions.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes, prepare journals, accruals, provisions and supporting schedules.
• Oversee hotel revenue and income audit, reconcile daily revenue from Opera PMS and POS systems, and investigate discrepancies.
• Supervise accounts receivable, monitor credit balances, and coordinate collection efforts.
• Supervise accounts payable, review supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Coordinate with the Director of Finance for monthly and annual financial reporting.

Required profile

• Significant UAE hospitality or hotel accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of hotel finance operations and statutory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage month‑end and year‑end closing within tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
