Civil Foreman – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to lead civil construction activities on a project site in Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. The role involves supervising daily works, coordinating with MEP teams, and ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, on schedule, and in line with approved drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day civil works such as excavation, concrete, blockwork, plastering, tiling, finishing, drainage and related MEP coordination.
• Allocate tasks to workers, technicians and subcontractors, monitoring productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, project specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with site engineers, MEP teams and subcontractors to avoid delays and rework.
• Monitor material, manpower, tools and equipment needs, reporting shortages in advance.
• Inspect completed work for quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and enforce safe working practices.
• Report daily progress, site issues, manpower status and material requirements to the Site or Project Engineer.
• Assist in resolving civil‑MEP coordination issues and support project handover activities.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in civil construction and basic MEP coordination, preferably with a contracting company.
• Diploma, ITI or technical certification in Civil Engineering/Construction, or strong practical site experience.
• Experience on residential, villa or building projects in the UAE, especially Abu Dhabi.
• UAE driving licence.
• Good command of English; Hindi/Urdu/Arabic is a plus.
