Civil Quantity Surveyor – Construction Cost Management

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Civil Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in Dubai. The role involves managing all cost aspects of civil and building projects, from initial tender preparation through to final account settlement, ensuring budgets are adhered to and standards met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tender and contract documents, including Bills of Quantities (BOQ) in collaboration with architects and clients.
• Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments.
• Prepare and evaluate costings for tenders, contracts, and variations.
• Allocate work to subcontractors and process monthly payment certificates.
• Monitor project budgets, track changes, and manage cash flow.
• Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Prepare final accounts and subcontractor final accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, BOQ estimation, and local regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication abilities.
