Classroom & Homeroom Teacher – Abu Dhabi (2026‑2027)

About the role

New Century Education is seeking Classroom/Homeroom Teachers for Cycle 1‑3 placements in charter schools across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The role involves delivering personalised instruction, fostering academic growth, and supporting each student’s individual learning journey.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enrich expertise in the subject area taught.
• Develop lesson plans that meet grade‑by‑grade learning standards.
• Coordinate lesson plans with other teachers to reinforce interdisciplinary knowledge.
• Provide direct and indirect instruction, including long‑ and short‑term planning.
• Prepare students for assessments and evaluate their progress.
• Produce quarterly individual achievement reports for parents.
• Create an inviting, innovative learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Incorporate feedback and coaching from administrative staff.
• Serve as an advisor to students, organising advisory groups and monitoring academic and behavioural progress.
• Support the ADEK National Identity initiative.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (QFE Level 7) in Elementary or Early Years Education, properly attested and UAE‑equivalency certified.
• Recognised teaching qualification such as a Teaching diploma, PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent licensure.
• Valid IELTS band 7 for non‑native English speakers.
• Minimum two years of experience as a Classroom/Homeroom Teacher.
