About the role

M42 is seeking a Clinical Nurse Lead / Senior Registered Nurse – Mental Health to provide advanced clinical nursing care and professional leadership within an inpatient or community mental health setting. The role ensures safe, high‑quality, patient‑centred care aligned with Department of Health standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, evidence‑based nursing care to mental health patients, covering assessment, care planning, implementation, and outcome evaluation.
• Supervise, mentor, and lead nursing staff and healthcare aides to maintain safe and effective practice.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and allied health professionals for coordinated, holistic care.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with DOH regulations, organizational policies, and clinical governance.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, manage crisis situations, and trigger timely escalations.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in line with legal and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and service development to enhance mental health care delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Valid Department of Health license or eligibility letter.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in mental health or psychiatric care.
• At least 3 years of experience in a team‑lead or supervisory role.
