Clinical Psychologist – Abu Dhabi

About the role

SEHA SAKINA, part of the SEHA network, is expanding its mental health team in Abu Dhabi. The Clinical Psychologist will deliver comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment and counseling services to patients of all ages, supporting their emotional wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence‑based interventions, including individual, family and group therapy.
• Diagnose and manage conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma‑related disorders and behavioral issues.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with DOH and SEHA standards.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, social workers and other professionals to ensure integrated care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or Doctorate (PhD/PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid DOH license as a Clinical Psychologist or eligibility for licensing.
• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience in a hospital or multidisciplinary mental‑health setting.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in Arabic and English (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and evidence‑based therapeutic approaches.
