Communications Associate – UAE National

About the role

We are seeking a Communications Associate who is an UAE national to support the Head of Communications in shaping and executing integrated consumer and corporate communication strategies. The role demands strong ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple work streams while keeping internal and external stakeholders aligned.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver quarterly communications plans and reports, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Coordinate functional updates and readiness ahead of planning cycles.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams on shared initiatives and reporting.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of communications plans.
• Support CSR and community programmes, coordinating with NGOs and charity partners.
• Execute consumer and corporate communications initiatives, managing agency partners and campaign roll‑outs.
• Handle logistics for partnerships, activations, media engagements and public‑facing events.
• Prioritise incoming communications requests based on business impact.
• Draft press releases, spokespeople interview briefs and internal updates.
• Monitor media coverage, flagging opportunities, risks or emerging issues.
• Maintain accurate reporting, including weekly coverage reports, WIP trackers and monthly newsroom updates.
• Review press queries and ensure timely responses or escalations.

Required profile

• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and verbal, with strong attention to tone.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent stakeholder management and coordination capabilities.
• Talent for simplifying complex information into clear messaging.
• High level of organisation, ownership and editorial judgement.
