Community Builder - UAE

About the role

Malt is looking for a Community Builder to lead the growth of its freelance ecosystem in the United Arab Emirates. You will act as the local bridge between Malt’s global strategy and the UAE market, driving platform adoption and fostering loyalty among high‑value freelancers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the scaling of a high‑quality freelancer ecosystem by attracting and nurturing top‑tier talent through events, content, portfolio management and one‑to‑one interactions.
• Design and execute a compelling event roadmap and content strategy (newsletters, articles) tailored to the UAE freelance community.
• Collaborate with sales and other functions to align community initiatives with local revenue goals.
• Forge strategic partnerships with local organisations such as Chambers of Commerce and freelance permit providers.
• Monitor, analyse and report on community metrics to continuously improve performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, project management or a similar role.
• At least 5 years of proven experience working in the Middle East, preferably the UAE, with deep market knowledge.
• Growth‑mindset and ability to translate community activities into business value.
