Construction Helper – Al Ain

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Helper to support our construction and marine projects in Al Ain. The role involves assisting skilled tradespeople, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up tools, equipment, and materials at work sites.
• Assist carpenters, fitters, masons, and other team members as required.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment or machinery.
• Carry out tasks assigned by immediate group leaders and foremen.
• Support the storekeeper in organizing and managing material stock.
• Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work areas after each shift.
• Perform tasks in various environments, including near shorelines and confined spaces.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• Contribute to accident prevention by maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years experience in construction or marine‑related work in the UAE (overall 5 years in a similar field).
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow protocols.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and environments.
• Good organizational skills and collaborative mindset.
• Basic English language skills for effective communication.
• Swimming skills (preferred) and knowledge of rigger or fitter helper duties (preferred).
