Construction Superintendent (EIT)

About the role

Petrofac is seeking an Early‑In‑Career (EIT) Construction Superintendent to lead subcontractor activities on site, ensure efficient use of labour and equipment, and support the delivery of high‑quality infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors, directing daily activities to align with project priorities and a 90‑day look‑ahead schedule.
• Monitor labour and equipment levels for efficiency and verify daily timesheets on reimbursable contracts.
• Assist subcontractors in selecting optimal execution methods and track daily construction progress.
• Identify scope changes, notify the Subcontracts Manager, and support the Construction Manager/Engineer with technical decisions.
• Take ownership of safety by reviewing HSSE plans, conducting toolbox talks, and ensuring daily site housekeeping standards.
• Verify ITPs and QCPs are in place before work starts and ensure work meets quality requirements.

Required profile

• Experience supervising multi‑discipline construction activities and subcontractors.
• Understanding of contract types such as reimbursable and unit‑rate agreements.
• Strong awareness of safety (HSSE) and quality processes on construction sites.
• Ability to communicate changes in scope and support technical decision‑making.
