Construction Supervisor – Mechanical & Piping (EIT)

About the role

Petrofac is seeking a Construction Supervisor (EIT) to lead on‑site activities across mechanical, piping, painting, insulation, refractory and fire‑proofing disciplines. The role ensures work is performed safely, to quality standards and on schedule while supporting the company’s transition to sustainable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities and field personnel for mechanical, piping, painting, insulation, refractory and fire‑proofing works.
• Conduct toolbox talks and participate in HSE meetings, daily site walks and safety inspections.
• Monitor daily progress, verify compliance with specifications, procedures, safety and quality requirements.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, manpower forecasts and inspection records.
• Alert the Construction Manager or Superintendent of any non‑conformities or scope deviations.
• Attend subcontractor cost‑awareness sessions, resolve subcontractor issues and ensure proper material control.
• Coach and mentor less experienced staff and provide feedback via Construction Observation Forms.
• Read and interpret approved drawings and documents such as single‑line diagrams, cable & drum schedules, routing indexes and area classification drawings.

Required profile

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and related documentation.
• Experience supervising on‑site construction teams in the listed disciplines.
• Strong focus on safety and ability to promote safe work practices.
• Capability to coach and mentor junior personnel.
