About the role

SearchPlus HR, a leading healthcare recruitment consultancy, is seeking a Consultant in Brain Injury Medicine to join a premier medical institution in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will deliver expert neurological care for patients with traumatic brain injuries, stroke, and related conditions, ensuring timely and effective treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage acute and chronic brain injury cases, including traumatic brain injury and stroke.
• Perform detailed neurological examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with surgeons, rehabilitation therapists, and intensive care teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to case reviews.
• Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Specialist/Consultant Neurologist with a recognized Western qualification (American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑specialisation experience in Neurology, with a focus on brain injury medicine.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex neurological cases and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
