Consultant Cardiac Surgeon – German/American CCT

About the role

A prestigious UAE hospital is expanding its cardiovascular team and seeks a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon with German or American training. The role offers a modern, state‑of‑the‑art cardiac surgery centre and a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a full range of cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
• Manage complex cardiac cases from pre‑operative assessment through post‑operative care.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical audits.

Required profile

• Medical degree with recognised specialisation in Cardiac or Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Valid DHA, DoH or MOHAP licence, or eligibility to obtain UAE licensure.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑specialisation experience.
• Consultant‑level qualifications such as CCT/CCST, American Board, Canadian Board or Irish Board are highly preferred.
