Consultant Fetal Medicine – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant in Fetal Medicine to join our state‑of‑the‑art facility in Dubai. You will provide expert prenatal care, diagnose fetal abnormalities, counsel families, and perform advanced fetal interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, evaluate, and manage fetal abnormalities using advanced ultrasound and other diagnostic tools.
• Review medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and order appropriate investigations.
• Provide clear consultation and counseling to expectant parents regarding findings, risks, and treatment options.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care plans with obstetricians, neonatologists, and surgeons.
• Perform fetal interventions such as fetal blood transfusions, fetoscopic surgery, and intra‑uterine procedures.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and promptly.
• Stay current with advancements in fetal medicine and attend relevant conferences.

Required profile

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Fetal Medicine.
• Western education or training (USA, UK, Canada, or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Certification in Fetal Medicine from a recognized body.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Valid UAE medical license.
