Consultant Gastroenterologist – Full‑time Hospital Position

About the role

We are partnering with a leading hospital in the UAE to recruit a Consultant Gastroenterologist. This full‑time role offers the opportunity to work in a progressive clinical environment delivering advanced, patient‑centred gastro‑enterology services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care to adult patients.
• Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Handle complex gastroenterological and liver‑related cases.
• Develop personalised, evidence‑based treatment plans and ensure thorough pre‑ and post‑procedure care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
• Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Support departmental education, teaching, and service development.

Required profile

• Board certification in Gastroenterology (ABMS, Canadian Royal College, UK CCT/CCST, German Facharzt, French DES, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑specialisation experience in gastroenterology.
• Strong background in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
• Eligibility for consultant‑level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP.
