Consultant in Fetal Medicine – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant in Fetal Medicine to join a state‑of‑the‑art tertiary care centre in Dubai. The role involves delivering expert diagnosis, counseling and management of high‑risk pregnancies and fetal anomalies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced fetal imaging, including detailed anomaly scans and fetal echocardiography.
• Provide prenatal counseling to expectant parents on prognosis and management options.
• Supervise or conduct invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
• Carry out fetal therapeutic interventions, e.g., fetal blood transfusions and fetoscopic procedures.
• Collaborate with obstetrics, neonatology, genetics, pediatric surgery and radiology teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in audits, teaching and research.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Fellowship or certification in Fetal Medicine from an internationally recognised body.
• Minimum 5 years of consultant‑level experience in a reputable tertiary hospital.
• Western education or experience in a recognised health‑care system (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand).
• Valid DHA, DOH or MOH consultant licence.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
