Consultant Neurologist – Full‑Time, Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Neurologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves delivering expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of neurological disorders while upholding the highest standards of patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, evaluate and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, dementia, headache disorders, neuropathies, and movement disorders.
• Perform comprehensive neurological assessments, interpret MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, nerve‑conduction studies, lumbar puncture results and laboratory investigations.
• Develop individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans and provide emergency neurological consultations.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, intensivists, rehabilitation specialists, radiologists, psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver outpatient consultations, inpatient management and follow‑up care, ensuring continuity of treatment.
• Document clinical encounters accurately in the hospital’s EMR system and comply with DHA regulations and hospital policies.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, research activities and CME; mentor junior physicians and residents.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent recognized by DHA.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Neurology (MD, DM, CCT, American Board, Arab Board, FRCP or equivalent).
• Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter for a Consultant Neurologist.
• Fellowship training in Stroke, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Neurophysiology, Multiple Sclerosis or Neuromuscular Disorders (preferred).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Required skills

• Interpretation of MRI and CT imaging.
• EEG and EMG analysis, nerve‑conduction study interpretation.
• Lumbar puncture technique and laboratory result interpretation.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Emergency neurological assessment and management.
