Consultant Neuroradiology

About the role

The Consultant Neuroradiology will join SEHA’s radiology division in Abu Dhabi, providing expert diagnostic and therapeutic services for neurological conditions. The role combines clinical leadership with administrative responsibilities to ensure high‑quality patient care and efficient departmental operations.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients according to best‑practice standards in neuroradiology.
• Oversee junior medical staff, ensuring appropriate care and documentation.
• Participate in performance management, peer review, and productivity assessments.
• Assist the Division Chief with scheduling, recruitment, and maintaining adequate medical coverage.
• Lead ward rounds, review investigations, modify treatment plans, and ensure informed consent for procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other specialties to plan holistic patient care.
• Maintain compliance with SEHA policies, licensure, certification, and mandatory training.

Required profile

• Medical qualification in neuroradiology (Tier 1 or Tier 2 as defined by SEHA).
• Current licensure and certification to practice in the UAE.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising junior staff and managing departmental duties.
• Strong commitment to patient safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
